By Eileen Soler BIG CYPRESS — Big Cypress once again held a holiday carnival for the community on Dec. 21 that included games and rides for everyone, and Ahfachkee students also held a Christmas play in which they showcased their talents on Dec. 13.

Kids enjoyed pony rides and face painting, and the Pemayetv Emahakv Charter School students entertained guests by singing songs in Creek. Raffle prizes and dinner capped off the event.

First, the community held its holiday dinner on Dec. 15, where they enjoyed plenty of gifts and food. Then on Dec. 18, the community gathered to participate in the City of Naples Christmas parade.
