BRIGHTON — On Aug. 16, students and parents gathered in Pemayetv Emahakv Charter School’s lunchroom where they were introduced to all the 2012-2013 school year teachers by principal Brian Greseth.

Greseth mentioned the collective academic accomplishment of last school year and said he looks forward to this year. He also talked about school policies, including sports requirements and tardiness.

Afterward, students eagerly walked to their new classrooms to meet their teachers and to get their supply lists to prepare for the first day of school on Aug. 20.

Parents reviewed curriculum, provided contact information and saw where their kids would learn.
