Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum.

BIG CYPRESS – Teachers can visit the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum for free in July. Up to four guests accompanied by teachers will receive 50% off standard admission to the museum on the tribe’s Big Cypress Reservation.

Teachers and their guests will have an opportunity to learn about Seminole history and culture and the diverse ecosystems of the Everglades while supporting curriculum goals and aligning with Next Generation Standards upon request.

The museum showcases historic and modern Seminole life and features a mile-long boardwalk through a cypress dome.

To sign up for the free visit, teachers should register at https://www.ahtahthiki.com/teachers/.

The museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except July 4. Teachers must present valid school credentials, such as a school ID or a note from the school, upon entry.
