COCONUT CREEK – Artist and philanthropist Joseph Gormley will host his first art show benefiting SOS Children’s Village, a global nonprofit organization dedicated to providing care to at-risk children, at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek Feb. 28.

Along with being an artist, Tamarac resident Gormley is a school custodian by day. His work as an artist – paintings and celebrity portraits – has raised about $300,000 for charities through donations and auctions.

The art show will run from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will be an opportunity to meet Gormley along with the opportunity to purchase his work and donate to SOS Children’s Village.
