Town hall meeting to discuss Native impact on elections

A virtual town hall discussion about the impact of the Native vote on the November elections will be held Dec. 14 at 7:30 p.m. Hosted by Four Directions Native Vote, the forum will also focus on the growing impact of Native voices on the American political scene and the upcoming Senate runoff elections in Georgia.

Congresswoman Deb Haaland (D-NM) is scheduled to be among the guests. Other participants will include: Oliver “OJ” Semans Sr., co-executive director, Four Directions; President Holsey, Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohican Indians; Principal Chief Marian (Vonnie) McCormick, Lower Muskogee Creek Tribe; Chairman David Sickey, Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana; and Donna Semans, grassroots director, Four Directions
