No. 1 FSU women’s soccer team coming to Fort Myers

The No. 1 ranked Florida State University women’s soccer team will be in Fort Myers on Sept. 9 to face Florida Gulf Coast University at 7 p.m.

The Seminoles (5-0) have allowed just three goals this season and are coming off a 5-2 win against rival Florida on Sept. 2.

FSU and FGCU’s only previous meeting came in 2008 in Tallahassee. This will be FGCU’s first time facing a team ranked No. 1 in the country. The game will be played at Pickering Field on the FGCU campus.
