The Ritz Club is located in the world famous Ritz Hotel, which was sold in March but continued to operate. The casino license transaction will allow Hard Rock to “seek out and establish a new casino premise in London, continuing [its] expansion into major gateway cities around the world,” a release said. “We look forward to expanding our brand offerings within London and bringing our award-winning hospitality, gaming and entertainment to the birthplace of Hard Rock,” Jim Allen, chairman of Hard Rock International and CEO of Seminole Gaming, said in the release. Peter Morton and Isaac Tigrett established the first Hard Rock Cafe in London in 1971. There is a Hard Rock Hotel in London as well as three Hard Rock Cafes.
