Jim Allen to speak about future of gaming industry

Hard Rock International Chairman and Seminole Gaming CEO Jim Allen will be a featured speaker at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E). The expo will run from Oct. 4-7 at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas. Allen is scheduled to participate in “Raising the Stakes: Gaming Leaders Take on the Future of the Industry” on Oct. 6 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. (ET).  CNBC correspondent and anchor Contessa Brewer will host the session that will also include Wynn Resorts CEO Matt Maddox and MGM Resorts International CEO and President Bill Hornbuckle.

On Oct. 5 at 4 p.m. (ET), “Gaming & Diversity: Pushing the Industry Forward” will focus on diversity within gaming companies and how to better serve communities, customers and employees. Speakers will be MGM Resorts International Chief People, Inclusion & Sustainability Officer Jyoti Chopra, U.S. Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Suzanne Clark, and Marriott International Senior Vice President, Multicultural Affairs, Apoorva Gandhi.

G2E is presented by the American Gaming Association.

“This year’s G2E reflects the resilience, innovation, and leadership that’s propelled gaming forward,” AGA President and CEO Bill Miller said in a statement.
