Discussion to focus on COVID-19 impact on Native American communities

An online townhall discussion about the coronavirus’s impact on Native American communities and Indigenous people in the U.S. will be held May 20 at 7 p.m. (ET).

Scheduled guests for the Congressional Progressive Caucus Center tele-townhall include Congresswoman Deb Haaland (D-N.M.); Faith Spotted Eagle (Native Organizers Alliance, Brave Heart Society, Yankton Sioux); North Dakota State Rep. Ruth Buffalo (ND-HD27, Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation); Tara Houska (Giniw Collective); and Kevin Allis (National Congress of American Indians, Forest County Potawatomi).
