Celebration of Don Shula’s life to be held at Hard Rock Stadium Hard Rock/Seminole Gaming Sports by The Seminole Tribune - September 10, 2021September 10, 2021 Dan Marino and Don Shula (Miami Dolphins photo) MIAMI GARDENS – A public ceremony to remember the late Miami Dolphins coach Don Shula will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 2 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. The event is free and open to the public. Speakers are scheduled to include members of Shula’s family with panel discussions from several Dolphins alumni including Bob Baumhower, Kim Bokamper, Larry Csonka, Bob Griese, Larry Little, Dan Marino, John Offerdahl, Joe Rose, and Dwight Stephenson. Shula, the winningest coach in NFL history, led the Dolphins to two Super Bowl titles. He died May 4, 2020, at age 90. To register for the event, click here.
