The Seminole Tribe’s Adryauna Baker scored 15 points and notched seven steals – both game highs – to help the Okeechobee High School girls basketball team advance in the FHSAA Class 5-Region 4 playoffs Feb. 10.

Six days after Okeechobee beat Rockledge in a district championship game by 11 points, the teams met again in a regional quarterfinal with a similar outcome. This time the Brahmans opened a 17-8 lead after the first quarter on their way to a 53-39 win.

Baker hit three 3-pointers. She also had five rebounds, one assist and one block.

Okeechobee (19-4) is seeded No. 2 in the region. The Brahmans will host No. 3 Norland, of Miami Gardens, at 7 p.m. on Feb. 15 in a regional semifinal.
