Charter School holds Fourth Quarter Award Ceremony

BRIGHTON — To celebrate their students’ success in the final quarter of the school year, Pemayetv Emahakv Charter School held an award ceremony.

Many certificates, plaques and even sweatshirts were given out in appreciation of the students, including the following:

Fifth-grade student Krysta Burton received a plaque from principal Brian Greseth for Safety Patrol Officer of the Year.

Dalence Carrillo, Silas Madrigal, Aubrey Pearce and Aidan Tommie received sweatshirts for having perfect attendance all year long.

Middle school students Jalynn Jones, Ruben Burgess, Aiyana Tommie, Diamond Shore, Lahna Sedatol and Kailin Brown got certificates for Best Creek Writing Skills.

Rudy Juarez, Morgan King, Shae Pierce, Crysten Smith, Zeke Matthews and Rumor Juarez were given the honor of Best Creek Speaker.

First- and second-grade students Jaytron Baker, Makaya King Leilani Burton, and Leviticus Berry  received Citizenship of the Year Award.

Fifth-grade students Cady Osceola, Caroline Sweat, Chynna Villarreal, Conner Thomas, and Kyle Palmisano got Academic Effort Awards.

Third-grade students Billy Bailey, Jaylen Baker, Davin Carrillo, Haylie Huff, Tanner Shore, Heith Lawrence, Laila Bennett, Morgan Yates, John Beck, Ivory Herrera, and Alyssa Gonzalez and Ruby Osceola received Citizenship Awards for the second semester.

Middle school students Zachary Hudson, Crysten Smith, Rudy Juarez, Jalynn Jones, Jermaine Bennet and Rumor Juarez received the Citizenship of the Year Award.

Jaron Johns and Aiyana Tommie received sweatshirts for having perfect attendance all year long.

Rudy Juarez, Morgan King, Shae Pierce, Crysten Smith, Zeke Matthews and Rumor Juarez were awarded Best Creek Speaker.
